Luis Gonzales, 32, of Yakima, died tragically from a homicide, Friday, January 15, 2010 at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.

Luis was born April 23, 1977 in Toppenish, WA to Emelio Gonzales and Carolyn Abercrombie Ashby. He was raised in Buena and attended Toppenish schools. In his late teens, he moved to Seattle and lived there until moving to Yakima in his late 20's. He worked as a car salesman for Auto Max the past two years. Luis was meticulous in his appearance. He was well known and had many friends. He especially enjoyed his family and children. All those who knew him will miss him very much.

Survivors include his wife, Amanda Maltos Gonzales of Sunnyside, two children, Julian Luis Gonzales of Harrah and Uriah Luis Gonzales of Sunnyside; brothers and sisters, Emelia Gonzales of Yakima, R.L. Abercrombie of Irrigon, OR, Bobby Joe Gatlin of Walla Walla, WA and Johnny Richard Gonzales, Nick Gonzales, and Lucy Gonzales, all of Yakima; Monica Bostrion of Gold, WA and Derrick Gonzales of Idaho; also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Frank Gonzales.

Viewing will be Thursday, noon until 6:00 p.m. and Friday, January 22, 2010, noon until the service at 3:00 p.m. at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home, 1010 W. Yakima Avenue, Yakima, WA 98902.
