Luis Ordaz Obituary

Luis L. Ordaz
1944-2016
Luis Lopez Ordaz, 72, was reunited with his parents in heaven on July 29, 2016.
Luis was born July 10, 1944 to Josefina Lopez Flores and Jesus Ordaz Sandoval, a farmer, in Palo Alto, Michoacan Mexico. One of 11 children, Luis was well loved and admired by his siblings for his sense of humor, work ethic, and caring nature. His love for farming and green thumb would eventually lead him to leave Palo Alto for Monterrey in 1964, where he would open a fruit stand. In 1970, Luis became the first of his siblings to leave Mexico for the United States. He would learn a new trade in Houston, Texas and become a master brick mason with a reputation for high quality work. On August 3, 1975 Luis married Janie Lin Gee his wife of over 40 years. Together, they raised six children: Victoria, Juan Carlos, Veronica, Luis Enrique, Vanessa, and Viviana. Family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers will miss him dearly as he was a constant source of support and joy. Throughout his illness, he maintained a fighting spirit and positive attitude as he fought for more time with his loved ones. He is survived by his loving wife Janie, their 6 children, his daughter-Michelle, his son- Luis Enrique, 9 grandchildren-Naomi, Matthew, Isaac, Cecilia, Alyssa, Sophia, Luis, Ezra, Isabelle, and 10 siblings-Antonio, Rosario, Catalina, Maria Luisa, Bertha, Jesus, Maria De Los Angeles, Jose, Jose Guadalupe, Maria Ninfa.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm Tuesday, August 2, 2016. Funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 pm Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Brookside Grand Chapel.

Across the years we'll miss you, and often times we'll cry,
If love could have saved you, you never would have died.
In life we loved you dearly, In death we love you still.
In our hearts you hold a place that no one could ever fill.
We will always remember your kind heart, and you will be dearly missed,
but you are in good company. Eternal rest be granted unto them oh lord, and may the perpetual light shine upon them and may their souls forever rest in peace. Amen. We love ya'll always!! Elisa and all my family!!

I talked to GOD today and lifted you all in prayer I knew you were weighed down with much heartache, pain and care. I knew you faced decisions so hard for you to make, I asked that GOD would guide you and show you the road to take. I asked for GOD to touch you and take your pain away be it his will, or give you strength to endure each day. He promised he will be there to comfort and sustain. He'll share your every burden, and soothe your every pain. Give him all your heartache. You'll feel at peace inside and such a joy in knowing that GOD'S walking by your side. His grace is all sufficient, your trials he will help you through-cast all your cares upon him for he truly cares for you.

There are many people that feel God takes away those they love. God isn't the cause of death or tragedies (James 1:13). He is the only means for ending suffering and death forever upon the earth.
