Luis Leal Valdez

Luis Valdez, 76, of Adrian passed away December 11, 2023, at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born August 25, 1947, in Houston, son of Felipe and Bernarda Valdez. Luis graduated from Adrian High School. He was employed at General Motors and worked at Fisher Body in Tecumseh and retired from Powertrain Toledo after 30 years. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Valdez-Gonzalez; son, Daniel Valdez; and grandson, Gino Gonzalez. He was preceded in death by his wife Marina Valdez, his parents and two brothers, Adam Valdes and Abel Valdes. His surviving siblings include Felipe (Vera) Valdes Jr., Esperanza Hernandez, John Valdes and Connie Demlow. Also, his many nephews, nieces, cousins and sisters and brothers-in-law, Emma De Leon, Lupe and Maria Gonzalez, Reynaldo and Vicky De Leon and Lupe and Maggie De Leon.

In accordance to his wishes, Luis will be cremated and no memorial service will be held. His family and close friends gathered to remember him.
