16 January 1926 - 15 April 2018
Died peacefully at Calvary Hospital.
Family and friends are warmly invited
to the funeral service for Luise in
the Chapel of Norwood Park Crematorium,
Sandford Street, Mitchell on Friday,
11 May 2018, commencing at 12 noon.
In lieu of flowers a donation in Luise's memory may be made to various animal charities.
Envelopes will be available at the service.
Please wear something bright
Following the service, please join the family for refreshments at University House,
corner Balmain Crescent and
Liversidge Street, Acton.

Luise's book on Paakantji grammar is the essential guide for my work with my Wiimpatja relations and friends on poems, songs, stories, translations and developing teaching materials. Luise's work is a wonderful gift to future generations.

Luise was a fine teacher who brought laughter to the study of Prakrit - no mean feat! A true intellectual, her curiosity was boundless, as was her generosity. Whether in Mooroolbark or in Gundaroo, she loved the flora and fauna of this ancient land, and especially loved its first peoples and their cultures. Her meticulous recording and studies of their unique languages is her legacy to her adopted land.
