So, so sorry to hear about Luke! My deepest sympathies go out to the whole family! I didn't know he is at Rock and that the visiting hours are today! I just found out now! Tanya moved out to AZ a few years ago or I'm sure she would be there! My sincere condolences!

Uncle Jon and Aunt Linda I am so sorry for your loss. I remember going over to your house on the pond as a kid and hanging out with Luke and Josh and Mary and having fun on the dock in the summer and ice skating in the winter. As the years went by and we grew up we all went our different ways and that was unfortunate, and I wish I would of kept up with him because I always had fun with him and Josh and Mary and the world has truly lost a great person. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you and again I am truly sorry. Love Jon Gurney

Sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of knowing Luke in the fishing community. He was a very hard working man who loved his family immensely. Luke was also a strong advocate for the fishing community. All of his family and closest friends will remain in our prayers dealing with this great loss of such a wonderful man that will never be forgotten. The way he embraced life and people, was amazing. He will continue to watch over his loved ones in heaven. All our Love, Todd and Susan (Martha's Vineyard)

Words cannot express how saddened I am to hear of Luke's passing. Condolences to Robyn, Jacob, Samuel and the entire Gurney family.Luke was a kind, authentic person. I knew him in the "high school years" and I was one of many who was lucky enough to have called him my friend. I will cherish the memories I have... always. He was a truly genuine soul.

Everyone I know, in Indiana and Massachusetts, loved Luke. He came to Indiana, along with my Brother, and my Nephews, to help me build our house. My mother, Mary, loved him like he was one of her own. His smile, and his generosity will be missed by anyone who knew him. R.I.P. my friend. Loveya

Luke was good friends with my sister many years ago, and was like a member of the family. His warm smile and CURLS will always be cherished memories, but his giving heart is what I will remember most. God bless you.

My deepest condolences to Luke's whole family. Although I had not seen him in many years, I went to Junior High at Normandin and then at NB High we were also in the same home room. As everyone else has mentioned he was a great guy and loved to laugh. Many people have fond memories of him even after many years.
