We dated for a majority of 2020 through the California Covid-19 shutdowns, and you were one of the only people I was able to stay in contact with during those rough times. I discovered your passing in July 2023 and was disappointing to find the news, but was grateful to have met you, be your friend, and love you for a period of time. Even though we drifted after breaking up I still do think of you all these years later, after all you were my friend first, and I never wanted you to struggle with the things you did. Your family is still on my mind, I hope those that loved you are doing well, I often think about your mom and Logan. There's a lot more that I could share, memories and photos, the lasting effects our friendship has on my life, but those are for another day. I'm glad we were friends and in an endearing way I'm glad you're resting eternally now, and no longer have to struggle with the things that I witnessed in your life.

I miss you my friend. Watching anime, sharing story´s, laughing, talking about our pets. Slav squatting and taking silly photos. Out friendship was beautiful. It´s almost been two years since you left. Your little heart was so big.... Learning about your issues just lead me to want to protect you. Than you moved away and we lost touch. Rest in peace lydicus. I love you.

I never met anyone with whom I had so much in common, but it was easy for everyone to see how special you were. You brought new hope to my life and I still think of you every day, and whenever I hear classical music. I hope your soul is now at peace. Thank you for holding on to me so tightly and wanting to know what was on my mind. I'll always remember you.
