I never met him, but I am sure he was wonderful because all of his children turned to great & down to earth to everyone who knew them. I had his daughter, Kay (Rhea) Reynolds at Clear Lake Intermediate as my teacher & knew her at Round Rock Chisholm Trail Middle School & meeting Lyle Jr. & Glenn was awesome too. So sad that Lyle Sr. & Jewel are both gone. My sympathies & prayers go out to the whole family. Sorry I missed the service. I was in Clear Lake for a High School Reunion. Love to the family.

Fella Blackwood, and Gal Blackwood Nunnely, two of the sweetest people I ever knew in high school. And to connect with the family again in Austin when they lived next door. Fella just such a nice guy, my deepest sympathy to his children, who I watched play in the yard, the boys putting Katie up on the roof!!! Knew Jewel and worked with her at the State Legislature. We always had such fun.
May he find peace and may his family have comfort. He will be missed.
