Please accept my sympathy on the passing of Lyle. We sampled water on the Cannon River and Lyle would stop down at the bridge to chat with who ever was sampling at that time. Beth Kallestad of the Cannon River Watershed Partnership was the person who did most of the water sampling and she got to know Lyle from his visits. We will miss visiting with him.

Growing up with you, Tammy was like a sister to me, so I never called Lyle by his name. He was "Dad" to me. I have always kept the memories of the good times we shared at your home forever in my heart.
God bless you and take care of yourselves and each other during this difficult time. I will see you soon.
Love and prayers to all of you,
Shannon (Halstead)

I wish to express my Sympathy to Lyle's wife and family. I graduated with Lyle in 1952 and remember him as a very caring classmate, always ready to lend a helping hand. The last time I seen Lyle was at a class reunion in 2004, and he was the same person I remembered from our high school days. May God Bless your family at this time of sorrow. Our class has lost a great and caring person.
Please know my prayers and thoughts are with all of you.
