Lynda Clure

Lynda Kay Clure, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025, in her Keizer, Oregon home, surrounded by the love of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Born on October 16, 1949, in Hamilton, Montana, to Kenneth Clure and Ruby Gerrod, Lynda's life was a testament to family and devotion.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Angela Cortes, and son-in-law, Luis Cortes, of Keizer, Oregon; her daughter, Samantha Tucker, and son-in-law, Michael Tucker, of Salem, Oregon; her son, Quentin Miles, of Keizer, Oregon; and her daughter, Josefina Sinclair, of California. Lynda's legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Jesse Romero, Amanda Zamora, Marco Romero, Hope Villagomez, Graciela Figueroa-Cortes, Luis Carlos Cortes, Enrique Cortes, Roman Cortes, Akeelah Cortes, Joaquin Cortes, Blake Tucker, Dustin Tucker, Bailey Tucker, Hanna Tucker, Neco Miles, Haydyn Smith, Liberty Osuna, Misty Majeski, Sergio Parocua, Juan Zamora, and Emanuel Figueroa. She was also blessed with 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild on the way. She is joined in heaven by her grandchildren Ramiro "Roman" Villagomez and Mercedes Sinclair.

Lynda made Keizer, Oregon, her home in 1977. Her professional life was marked by 27 years of dedicated service to the State of Oregon in health insurance, where she was a strong and respected union advocate. Beyond her career, Lynda's true passion lay in cooking and nurturing her family. She was the heart of her family, a matriarch whose love and strength provided unwavering comfort and support. Her absence leaves an immeasurable void.
