Born Lynda Sue Heath on 15 January 1942, to Leslie Hyrum Heath, and Clara Afton Hards Heath, Lynda Sue Richards left this world on 13 April 2022, the Love of her life at her side. She and Bill were married 47 years and sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in August of 1992.
Lynda loved life, and all God’s creatures, though she was not fond of spiders. She most loved family, all of us, from her ancestors to those yet to be, and delighted in sharing family history and stories about them. She bloomed where she was planted, and everything became more beautiful and loved in her presence. Her home was her castle, which she loved to decorate and garden. Talented in everything she poured her heart into, she found great joy in painting landscapes and portraits.
She is survived by her husband William Anthony Richards, her children, LeAnn Peterson (Clayton), Cindy Peterson (Rick), Ronald Peterson Jr., Mark Peterson (Andrea), Davi Lyn Richards, Erick Richards (Terry), 28 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, her youngest sister, Launa Larsen (Charlie), and her precious fur baby, Primrose. She is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Phyllis Monson, Ollean Graham, Russell Heath, Gail Heath, Jim Heath, and Ted Heath.
A celebration of life is being arranged for a future date.
Lynda’s care entrusted to Putnam Funeral Home 145 Texas Ave. Kingsland, TX 78639 (325) 388-0008

My sincere condolences to you all. Your mom is an amazing woman. So full of love and understanding. One of the most talented, patient and kindest, God, broke the mold when he created her. My heart goes out to you all. She will be missed, always loved and truly cherished.
