So sorry to hear of Lynda's passing. She's someone I spent a little time with in high school and then reconnected with on Facebook. She was a very supportive and kind person. I'll miss messaging with her.

I just heard, I've been so sick the last 2 months I haven't answered any phone calls or got in touch with anybody. So sad not to have her on the other line. I'll miss her dearly. We would talk frequently you would always be so sweet. May you rest in peace my dear friend.

Lynda was a camper at Camp Lou Henry Hoover back in the late 1960s and I was one of her camp counselors. She tracked me down about 10-12 years ago and we have been keeping up with each other since. I enjoyed Lynda very much as a kid and as an adult. Very special person.

I am so glad I got to spend some time with Lynda again after many years this summer. Her kindness and enthusiasm for our music community was so very appreciated. May her "memory be for a blessing" as I´ve heard it said.

Lynda was always happy to see me and she let me know it and that may not seem huge but it was one of the lovely things I could count on in my life. She was solidly in the ranks of women who deeply loved black cats which is some of the highest praise you can give a person I think. Her cat Bear was legend. She is someone I will very much miss.

Lynda was a big part of the volunteer crew that kept the Old Vienna Kaffeehaus going. Back before the internet we labeled and mailed over 10,000 flyers every two months I could always count on Lynda to help make that happen. She also helped with our recent reunion event very glad she was part of it. She is missed

I met Lynda when she was a student in a Counterpoint class I was teaching at Berklee College of Music in 1975. Lynda was an extremely intelligent young woman though she was not terribly interested in Counterpoint, a somewhat esoteric study in music theory. She was a talented musician, a great lover of all types of music, and became a close friend when I was fortunate enough to marry one of her best friends, Alice Gebura. Lynda remained a dear friend for nearly 50 years until her untimely recent passing. She was frequently at our house for gatherings, meals, musical events, and celebrations of life over all the 30 plus years we lived in Massachusetts. After we moved to Minnesota from Massachusetts (twice!) she and Alice never went too long without long, loud and hilarious telephone visits. We are so sad that these have ended, but our love for Lynda and the and wonderful memories we treasure will never end.

I met Lynda at Berklee College of Music. There were so few women at the time. I admired her playfulness, always smiling and having fun, and I remember her playing her flute. As a new music teacher, Lynda talked me through being overwhelmed and helped me organize my lesson plans.
As fate would have it, Lynda, our friend Alice, and I worked at Digital Equipment Corporation. I remember Lynda as a training manager at the time; she was confident and competent.
I'll never forget Lynda as beautiful, fun-loving, an excellent businesswoman, and a helpful friend. I only wish I spent more time with her as the years passed. I miss her.

Lynda and I met in the fall, 1973 as we moved into our dorm rooms at Berklee. She was in the room across from mine. We became fast friends and had some great adventures then and over the years. She was at my wedding, at the birth of my daughter, and we even worked alongside each other at two different tech companies in the 1980s. She loved violets, the color blue, heart shapes, kitchen gagdets, and music - especially folk, jazz and opera. She was a regular presence at Club Passim in Harvard Square and the Newport Folk Festival. One of the most fun things we did was go to the Met HD broadcasts with champagne and treats hidden in our bags. Her energy and enthusiasm and sense of humor were amazing considering the health issues that plagued her for decades. People move in and out of our lives and since I moved to Minnesota in 2014 I haven´t seen Lynda very much although we texted, phoned and emailed. She will always be in my heart as a loyal friend and the sister I never had. Rest in peace dearest Lynda.
