LYNFORD A. HARTENSTINE, 78, OF BOYERTOWN Lynford A. Hartenstine, 78, of Boyertown, husband of Gail C. (Glomstad) Hartenstine, died Sunday at his residence. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of Earle R. Hartenstine and Mary (Katrange) Hartenstine. He worked for 38 years at Dana Corporation in Pottstown as a machine operator, retiring in 2004. He was devoted to his family. He also enjoyed shopping at Redner's, fishing and attending to his backyard birds. Lynford served in the Navy during the Korean War. He attended Harvest Fellowship Church in Boyertown. Surviving in addition to his wife of 51 years are one son, James E. Hartenstine, husband of Jessica of Limerick, and three granddaughters, Alicia Nolt, Paris Herbst and Cuinn Hartenstine. He was predeceased by two sons, Steven D. Hartenstine and Brian Todd Hartenstine, and one brother, Earl Hartenstine. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Morrell Funeral Home Inc., 124 West Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown, PA. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Harvest Fellowship Memorial Fund, 584 Colebrookdale Road, Boyertown, PA 19512. Arrangements are by the Morrell Funeral Home Inc., (www.MorrellFuneralHome.com).
