Lynn Johnson Obituary
Lynn dedicated her life to educating young minds and worked in the California public school system for over 30 years. She worked her way up to being an administrator in the Simi Valley School District. Even after retiring, Lynns love for helping children get the education they deserve didn't stop. She volunteered for School On Wheels where she became a star tutor and mentor to multiple children and their families. Sharing stories about her "kids" was always a joy for her.
She had a zest for life, and loved traveling, spending time with family and friends, and of course her shitzus!
Lynn is survived by her children Erin (Randy) and Michael (Lei), grandchildren Ozzie, Zoe, and Kamakana, brothers Chris and Kevin Murray, and many nieces and nephews, as well as the rest of her extended family and beloved friends.
Lynn's shining smile and thoughtful heart will be missed by all of us; but we know she's watching over us from above and making sure we load the dishwasher right.

Lynn and I were upstate New York girls transposed to California to become district administrators in Simi Valley. She made me laughed when crying might have been more appropriate! Her passion for children and their successes was unmatched. She loved and was so proud of her family. She will be missed but I was one of the lucky people because my life path intersected with Lynn.

I am so sorry for your loss. Lynn was a wonderful volunteer at School on Wheels and helped many students experiencing homelessness in Ventura. She will be missed.
