Lynne J. Aldrich

Lynne J. Aldrich, LPN, age 69 of Fall River passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Arthur T. Aldrich, to whom she had been happily married to for 51 years.

Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Louis Audet Jr. and Marion A. (Howe) Audet, she was a resident of Somerset for 40 years, prior moving to Fall River. She was a graduate of Case High School, class of 1966 and Diman Regional School of Nursing, class of 1969. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for 40 years, retiring in 1991. She loved her family dearly, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her dogs. She was an avid motorcyclist. During one of her many motorcycle trips, she traveled to Tennessee where she traversed the treacherous Tail of the Dragon.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children; Arthur T. Aldrich Jr and his wife Maria of El Paso, TX, Cheryl A. Silver and her husband Greg of Westport, Charon L. Comeau and her husband Peter of Somerset and Craig L. Aldrich and his wife Nancy of Somerset; a brother, Alan Audet of Swansea; twelve grandchildren, Kathy, Christopher, Autumn, Melody, Laurel, Jamison, Aaron, Ethan, Ryan, Matthew, Zachary and Jacob; four great-grandchildren, Cade, Prince, Juan Pablo and Sawyer Grace; and our dear friend Gerry Audet, who was her motorcycle instructor and riding companion; several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Sheila Audet.

Lynne's funeral arrangements are in the care of WARING-SULLIVAN HOME at CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter Street, Fall River, MA 02720. A Celebration of Life in Lynne's honor will be held later at a late date and place determined by the family.
