Lynne McLeod Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 1, 2024.
Lynne McLeod (née Shores), 81, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2024, in Orlando, Florida. Born in Silver Creek, New York, Lynne spent her formative years there before making Orlando her home.

Lynne is survived by her loving husband, James McLeod; children, Robert (Brenda) Dvorak, Suzanne (David) Phillips, and Sandra Harder; her brother, Ebbie (Patricia) Shores; along with 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ebbie and Maude (Wilson) Shores, and her brother, Paul D'Arcy.

A devout member of Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Orlando, Lynne found great solace and community through her faith. She cherished her time in the kitchen, cooking and baking, which was only surpassed by the joy she found in spending time with her family.

Lynne's gentle spirit and warm heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and nurturing will continue to live on through her family and the many lives she touched.

Lynne was always very happy and fun to be around. We will miss her very much, we didn't see her enough because she moved to Florida. We are so sad she has passed away, but her suffering is gone and she is with Jesus. She will always be remember.

My deepest condolences to all her family. I have many fond memories of sleepovers with Sandra in Silver Creek. Her mom was always so welcoming.
