M. Anthony "Tony" Ham Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 11, 2024.
M. Anthony ("Tony") Ham peacefully went to be with the Lord at his home on 10/7/24 at the age of 72 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Cynthia ("Cindy") R. Ham. Lovingly remembered by his sons, Victor (Ashlee) Ham and Nicholas (Deana) Ham; his grandchildren, Merrick, Julia, Duncan, and Bennett; his sister, Annette Willis; nieces, Teri, Sarah, and Edie; and nephews, Browning and Caleb.

Tony lived a life of service to his family, friends, community, and State. His faith in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ guided his life and his decision making as Clerk of Superior Court of Brantley County, and as a member of the Okefenokee REMC and Oglethorpe Power Corporation Boards of Directors. Tony treated everyone with the same level of respect and dignity regardless of background and had a long-lasting positive impact on so many. He loved the outdoors and created great memories fishing on the Satilla River. He also enjoyed working the earth and farmed most of his adult life. He did both with a smile until he was no longer physically able to do so. Most of all he loved his wife and family and cheered them on no matter what. His positive mantra of "every day's a holiday and every meal's a feast" allowed him to stay grateful and feel blessed regardless of the situation. He will be missed.

Visitation will be held at Southern Cremations and Funerals on 10/14/24 at 10:00 am. It will be immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00.
