M. R. HALL

Retired chartered surveyor Mr Michael Reginald Hall (59), of Church Lane, Selston, was buried at the churchyard after a service in St Helen's Church, Selston.
Born at Nottingham Road, Selston, life-long local resident Mr Hall was educated at Bagthorpe Primary and Eastwood Technical schools, and had worked as a chartered surveyor for 25 years, retiring in 2000.
His interests included gardening, geo-caching, researching his family tree and walking, especially in the Lake District.
Mr Hall, who died at his home, leaves his wife, Mrs Pauline Hall, daughter, Nicola Louise, grandson Ellis-William and his parents, Mr Reginald and Mrs Joyce Hall, of Nottingham Road, Selston.
