I just heard from a friend today that Mabel had passed. We are very sorry for your loss. She was an absolutely wonderful person and I had always looked up too her. I've known her since she worked at Cornwall Centre, my kids grew up knowing her as Auntie. Our condolences.

I've known Mabel for many years. I met her when I worked at the Cornwall Centre. She was like a second mom to me. She was so full of life and just a great person to talk to. Her smile and her jokes cheered anyone up, even on their worst days. I just found out today (March 21/09) that she passed away. I am so shocked and very sorry for your loss. I am going to miss her so much. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. Again, I am so sorry, she will be sadly missed.

I became friends with Mabelann at Southland mall and always enjoyed talking to her. Brought her little things from Germany which she greatly appreciated. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Dear Darrell, Delilah, Tommy and Barbara - we share your grief. Auntie Mable was full of fun , high spirits, kindness and will be greatly missed. Your mother was only 5 years older than me and I always felt so grown up when she moved to a small one-bedroom apartment in Regina and let me sleep over every once in a while. We will miss popping in to see her on our annual trips to Regina.

I was fortunate enough to meet Mabel when she worked at the Cornwall Centre. She always had a good joke to tell and when she laughed you couldn't help but laugh with her. I"d always make a point of stopping to say hi to her whenever I was in the southland mall she will be missed dearly.
