(nee Armstrong)
Mabel was born in Lubec, Maine on June 7, 1927 and passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on November 26, 2012 in Gatineau, Quebec. Predeceased by parents Harry and Donna Foster (Foote) Seal Cove, Grand Manan, NB; predeceased by adoptive parents William and Mayme Armstrong (Wade) Moncton, NB; predeceased by sisters Mary Calder (Wesley) and Major Laura Hanson; predeceased by her husband Captain Michael A. Ruymar, RCN (CommResearch 291). Survived by nieces Lois French (Lee) and Kathy Willier (Lester) both from St. John, NB. Beloved mother of Brenda J. Springer (Gary), Michael D. Ruymar, Peter W. Ruymar (Lavinia Lax) and Laura M. Parizeau (Andre). Beloved grandmother to Michael G. Springer, Alena M. Gower (Jason), Rebecca M. Nair (Sreejit), Allison M. Parizeau (Patrick Kelly). Proud great-grandmother to Renn, Aidan and Mackenzie. Special thanks to staff of Vigi de L'Outouais who treated Mabel and the entire family with dignity and grace. A Memorial Service will be held June 7, 2013 at Aylmer United Church, 164 Rue Principale, Aylmer, at 11 a.m. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
