Mable A. Simmons

I was so sorry to learn of Mable's passing. She was a remarkable woman. She always worked hard at every job she was given. She loved interacting with the students at JHS. As supervisors she and Alice made my job a lot easier.

She was a bright light at First Presbyterian church-- a kind and friendly lady I remember from my childhood. Prayers of peace for her daughter and those who loved her.

Mable always had a warm smile and a warm heart. It was obvious that she loved the Lord and loved people. Our prayers and sympathy are with you, Annette.

Judy and I extend our sincere sympathy on the loss of Mable.

I grew up with Mrs. Simmons daughter, Annette. She is still one of my best friends. I spent several weekend nights at their home for " sleep overs". She was always so kind and loving to me. She made me feel like a daughter of her own. I will miss her terribly. I will see you again,Sweet Angel,of that I am sure. Until then,rest in sweet peace. Love you always, Pam Kilmer

Mable was a beautiful soul. An amazing cook, neighbor, and friend.

Mable was always a delight in the JHS Cafeteria. She was a bright spot for everyone with whom she came in contact. She will be missed. Our sympathy to you, Annette.

So very sorry to hear of Mable’s passing. I lived across the street from Mable and Annette when they lived in Spaulding. My grandmother worked with Mable as well for several years at the school. She was such a sweet lady and she will be greatly missed!!

Mabel, Wilma, and Annette have been part of my life for such a long time. They have been such wonderful friends. I will so miss visiting with Mabel and smiling with her about all the memories our families had together. She was a wonderful woman, and I will miss her! Annette, you have my family’s love.

Mable was the cafeteria angel to students at Jacksonville High School. She touched so many lives and will be missed terribly.
