I was so sorry to learn of Mable's passing. She was a remarkable woman. She always worked hard at every job she was given. She loved interacting with the students at JHS. As supervisors she and Alice made my job a lot easier.

She was a bright light at First Presbyterian church-- a kind and friendly lady I remember from my childhood. Prayers of peace for her daughter and those who loved her.

I grew up with Mrs. Simmons daughter, Annette. She is still one of my best friends. I spent several weekend nights at their home for " sleep overs". She was always so kind and loving to me. She made me feel like a daughter of her own. I will miss her terribly. I will see you again,Sweet Angel,of that I am sure. Until then, rest in sweet peace. Love you always, Pam Kilmer

So very sorry to hear of Mable’s passing. I lived across the street from Mable and Annette when they lived in Spaulding. My grandmother worked with Mable as well for several years at the school. She was such a sweet lady and she will be greatly missed!!
