Madeleine D'AGATA Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Madeleine on Monday, August 1, 2016 at the age of 84 years.
She will be forever loved and remembered by her loving husband Victor of 64 years; two sons, Peter (Olga) and Paul (Francesca); four grandchildren, Victor (Eugenia), Katherine (Ross), Paul (Cristina), Madeleine (Sean); two great-grandchildren, Felix and Noa; nieces, nephews, and other extended family members, as well as many close friends.
A Prayer Service will be held at Connelly- McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton, AB on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 6, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Help Maronite Catholic Parish, 9809-76 Avenue, Edmonton, AB.
Donations in memory of Madeleine may be made to Our Lady of Good Help Maronite Catholic Parish.
Interment will follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum, 14611 Mark Messier Trail, Edmonton, AB.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your wife and mother. My Mom was her roommate at the Misercordia hospital in March and we spent many hours in the hallway conversing with Madeleine, sharing cookies, stories, smiles and singing with the nurses. Although we only knew her for a short time she touched our hearts. May you find comfort in your memories.

A Superb Woman passes onto her next life! With her natural intuitiveness, intelligence and encompassing love, Mrs. D'Gata, as we all called her, entered into our hearts permanently... Need to sit with her once, you'd unequivocally fall in love!
She embodied the heritage of the Levant, the land of the first software of Alphabets and the glory of the Nile, the land where the first internet of engineering was created. The Pyramids stand esoterically in a solid reference of the roots of history.
When she arrived to Canada, she was already a Canadian! Indeed, when you want a typical Canadian with allegiance to the greatest country in the world and the land where humans are more valuable than hydrocarbons, the land where our forefathers were directed in their pursuit for spiritual fulfillment, Mrs. D'Agata crystallized as the synthesis of many cultures and that why everyone thought she was part of his or her being.
She will even do more in her next life because now her Soul has complied wealth from three different nations which she weaved into one superior culture. Canada was honored to have Mr. D'Agata as a true manifestation of Canada's ideals! Mrs. D'Agata was honored to express her love, respect and allegiance to Canada!
We were honored that our life was partly accompanied by her life.
Dr. D'Agata,Peter, Paul,their families and all of us, spray our tears on her fortunate body, the scent abode of her soul... Tears of sadness but more tears of pride and joy that Mrs. D'Agata was a precious and indelible part of our lives...
