Madison Taylor Obituary

Published by The Province on Apr. 16, 2006.

TAYLOR _ Madison Paige born March 9, 2004 received her wings on April 11, 2006 at Canuck Place at 2 years of age. Mady was a fighter until the very end having been born at 24 weeks gestation weighing 1 pound 6 ounces with a rare brain abnormality called Lissencephaly and was given to us on borrowed time. She will always be missed and remembered by her mother Lori; grandparents Paul and Leslie; uncle Paul (Alex); cousin T.J.; as well as other dear relatives and friends. A special thanks to all Madison's caregivers and doctors, if it wasn't for you we wouldn't have been blessed with the time we had with her. "You are an angel now, dear Madison, now fly free. Mommy will meet up with you again. I love you sweet heart." Funeral service to be held on Tuesday, April 18 at 10:00am at Arbor Chapel, Valley View Funeral Home, 14660 - 72 Ave, Surrey, BC. In lieu of flowers donations in Madison's memory may be made to Canuck Place, the Variety Club, BC Children's Hospital or the Lissencephaly Network Inc., 10408 Bitterroot Court, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804.

Dear Lori

Heaven has sprouted another bright flower, a pretty angel with much love in her heart for her mother and her family. She felt the love, the bond and the special relationship she had with her family and although she is saddened to leave she is flying free without pain and tears and her only regret is that she had to leave her loved ones behind. Be strong Lori, just like little Madison.

To the Taylor Family~

I am very sorry and saddened to hear about your precious little girl. Although we have never met, I can sympothize with your loss. We may have crossed paths two years ago in the SCN at Children's Hospital. I had given birth to twins at 27 weeks gestation. My one twin (a little girl) also passed with complication's beyond the doctor's control. We are blessed to have the other twin (also a lttile girl) healthy and thriving. She spent three months in the SCN.

Another weird coincidence is that your father...or father in-law, not sure, just recently attended my father's funeral service, and apperantly went to school with him. Michael Hunt.

I will think of your family in the next few months to come, and on the funeral day, as your daughter is layed to rest, probably close to mine, at the Valley View Funeral Home.

God Bless,
