MAGNOLIA JEAN SMITH, 85, of Memphis, wife of Reverend A. D. Smith, Sr. of 67 years, died on Wednesday, November 14, 2012. She was an alumnus of Manassas High School, former first lady of Greater Nazareth Baptist Church for more than 35 years, where she was president and directress of the choir, BTU and Sunshine Band Teacher and served on the Mother Board. She was also President of the Klondike Christmas Club. The following services will be held at Antioch Baptist Church, 3639 Faulkner Road. Family will receive friends on Friday, November 23, 2012 from 5-6:55 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 7 p.m.. Visitation - Saturday, November 24, 2012 from 10-10:55 a.m. with Funeral Ceremony at 11 a.m. Interment in Memory Hills Garden Cemetery, 3700 N. Germantown Pkwy. Her life and legacy will be remembered by her loving husband, Reverend A. D. Smith, Sr., her children, Ruby (Robert) Kimble, Carolyn Brock, Pastor A. D. (Pastor Mary) Smith, Jr., Elder Shirley F. (Dr. Lee Otis) Adams, Beverly (Curtis) Watson, William C. Smith, Deborah (Reverend Leon) Walker, Sandra (Fred) Harris, Reverend Michael (Vickie) Smith, twenty-seven grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and dear friends. 901-452-7331 harrisonsfuneralhomeinc.com
