Majella Bouchard

Majella (Soucy) Bouchard Frenchy, age 79, formerly of East Bridgewater, died at home in San Benito, Texas on March 29, 2017. Born in St. Anne, New Brunswick on June 6, 1937, she was the daughter of Leonard and Marianne (Martin) Soucy and loving sister to Donald Soucy and Marie Soucy-Bujold, predeceased by Clarence Soucy, Lorraine Ouellette, and Lawrence Soucy. Majella married and moved to the United States in 1957, becoming a citizen in 1967. Majella loved to entertain and cook for family and friends, as well as crochet and sewing. She also volunteered to cook meals for the sick and elderly. Majella is survived by her loving husband, Leslie and their children Deborah Cloran and her husband William, Daniel Bouchard and his wife Janelle, Denise Foster and her husband David, and Donald Bouchard and his husband Philip Charles. She was the loving grandmother of Colleen Chassie and her husband Robert, Cathleen Cassie and her husband Benedict, William Cloran, Matthew Foster and his wife Lauren, Timothy Foster and his wife Chiharu, Andrew Foster, Karen Fox, and her husband Christopher, Kieran, Kohner, Kellen and Daniel Bouchard; great-grandmother to Sea, Elysia, Abigail, Brett, Mikaila, Haley, Christopher, Tristan, and Easton. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews. The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate Majellas life with a funeral Mass on July 22, at 11 a.m. at St John the Evangelist in East Bridgewater, interment immediately following.
