Malcolm D. Eldridge

Services for Malcolm D. Eldridge will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at New Hope UMC in Kemper Co. with the Rev. Owen Gordon officiating. Burial will be in New Hope UMC Cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Eldridge, 65, Of Semmes, Ala. died Friday, July 24, 2009 in Mobile, Ala. He was a retired truck driver for Roadway and a veteren of the U.S. Armed Forces. Survivors include; sons; Kevin Eldridge, Carlos and wife, Maxine, Ala., grandchildren, Kaitlyn Eldridge, Joshua Eldridge, and mother of his children and friend, Pam Watts, all of Semmes, Ala. He was preceded in death by his parents; Malcolm M. and Lyla S. Eldridge. Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home and 30 minutes prior to service on Tuesday. Pallbearers will be; Bryan McGowan, Billy McGowan, Billy Joe Hedgeth, Wayne Eldridge, Martin Hubert Eldridge, Freddie Gully, and Keith Barnes.
