When I got the call about our "L'il Mackey" it put a tear in my eye. I can see Malcolm proudly stepping in Burke's Marching Band as the First Little Drum Major. That will forever be his legacy in our beloved Charleston. You see Malcolm was a " Man Boy" during that era. Therefore, DRUM MAJOR, TAKE YOUR FINAL BOW! All the best to the family.

Edward, James, Eric and Annette! My condolences and prayers goes out to each of you. The passing of Malcolm have left many of us in unbelief. Memories will never be forgotten from my time spent at your house growing up with All Of You on Percy Street.

My condolences to the Nelson family. Malcolm had such poise and swagger at a young age helping to lead a high school band when he was still in elementary school. We'll miss him. God's grace and mercy!
