CMSgt Malcolme Leon "M.L." Sullivan, passed away peacefully at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Victoria Sullivan in Prattville, AL on February 24, 2016 at the age of 87 from his long battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Malcolme was born on February 10, 1929 in Selma, AL and was a graduate of Hayneville High School. He married Clara Ellen Hawkins, his high school sweetheart, on April 21, 1951. He served proudly in the United States Air Force for over 30 years. He was a veteran of the Korean and the Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his wife Clara Ellen Hawkins Sullivan, his father and mother Malcolme L. Sullivan and Irene Stanberry Sullivan, one son Harold Sullivan, and two sisters Nell Sullivan Suiters and Maxine Sullivan Lamb.

He is survived by his children, Malcolm Sullivan III (Ann), Glenn Sullivan (Karen), Venita Sullivan, Terry Sullivan, and Frank Sullivan (Victoria); his grandchildren, Heather Sullivan, Malcolm Sullivan IV, Samantha Rouse (Rankin), Meredith Sullivan, Rachel Baumann (John), Morgan Rashid (Ryan), Glenn Sullivan, Jr. (Megan), Spencer Sullivan (Kimberlee), Michael Mayer, Marietta Egbert (Jeff), Hayden Sullivan, Hudson Sullivan (Bali) and Skyler Curlee (Tyler) and 25 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 12:00 PM with funeral services at 1:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 770 S. Court Street, Montgomery, AL. Graveside services will be held immediately following at Oakview Cemetery, Lowndesboro, AL. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made in his name to the Prattville Autauga Humane Society, 1009 Reuben Rd, Prattville, AL 36067. The family would like to thank Aleta Oliver who assisted in his care and Tracey and Judy with Baptist Hospice for their care and dedication.
