Malissie Trippe passed away on September 30, 2024. She was born on August 22, 1952, to Claude and Melbourne Oliver. Malissie is survived by her son Bryan Henson, her daughter Sherri Dunn, seven grandchildren, her brother Greshem, and her sisters Gayle and Johnnie.

Malissie grew up in Georgia and married Fred Henson. After relocating to Oklahoma, they had two children, Sherri and Bryan. Her second marriage was to Robert Trippe, the true love of her life. Together, they were serial entrepreneurs who built and operated various businesses, including a circus and several charitable organizations.

Malissie was a driven and passionate soul who dedicated herself to her endeavors. She was recognized by several organizations for her accomplishments, including leading one of the first Mothers Against Drunk Drivers chapters in the country. Malissie was always charitable, looking after everyone she met and welcoming extended family into her household throughout the years.

Malissie lived a full and eventful life, filled with love, adventure, and a deep commitment to making a difference. Her journey was marked by her entrepreneurial spirit, her dedication to charitable causes, and her unwavering love for her family and friends. She touched the lives of many and leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and passion.
