Mrs. Rose Mary Singer O'Neill

Rose Mary Singer O’Neill passed away August 7, 2011 at the age of 84. Survived by her husband Charles A. O’Neill Jr, and daughters Kathleen Chadwick (Pat) and Peggy Bourg (Walter). Also survived by her grandchildren, Ian and Daniel O’Neill, and Megan and Charles Bourg, sister in law Anna Fontana and her nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son Keith D. O’Neill, sister Anna Mae Jul and brother B.J. Singer. Rose Mary was born in New Orleans on April 3, 1927 to Bartley and Rose Brining Singer. She was a nurse at Hotel Dieu hospital for many years. She loved cooking, Mardi Gras, and enjoyed traveling the world. Rose Mary was devoted to her family, and will be missed dearly. A special thank you to the staff at Ollie Steele Burden Manor for their loving care and kindness. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, August 11, 2011 from 10:00 am until service begins at 1:00pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home-Ponchatoula, LA.
