Manuel Jesus Fernandez, 84, of Miami Lakes, Florida, entered into eternal peace on September 13th, 2018 at Glades West Rehabilitation Center In Miramar, Florida.

The funeral service will be held at Caballero Rivero Funeral Home in Little Havana on September 17th. Father Pastor Ralph Rodriguez will be officiating. Visitation will be held at Caballero Rivero Funeral Home in Little Havana from 5pm-10pm on September 17th ,2018. Entombment to follow the funeral at Woodlawn Cemetery at 11:15 am Tuesday September 18th., 2018. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Caballero Rivero Funeral Home in Little Havana.

Manuel was born in Sagua La Grande, Cuba on November 21,1933. Manuel was married to Lydia Rasco Fernandez and had three children. Manuel studied medicine in Cuba and owned several pharmacies, one in Cuba and another in Miami Florida. Also during this time Manuel became a Pharmaceutical Rep. where year after year he beat his own sales record, claiming the undefeated title in sales for Lederle Labs ten years consecutively before retiring. He was actively involved in charities at his church with his second wife Regina Garcia Fernandez, at Our Lady of the Lakes, in Miami Lakes, Florida.

Manuel is survived by his ex-wife Lydia Rasco Fernandez, children, Manuel Fernandez Jr. and Maria Elena Hernandez, Lourdes Fernandez, grandchildren Jessica Winter, Michael Fernandez, Jennifer Moats, Megan Calisto, David Ortega, and Maggie Wilson, his great grand children, Tristan, Liam, Ethan, Carlo, Michael Jr., Izabel, Bennett, and Baby Wilson, his sister Josefina Rodrigues and her children,Vivian Rodriguez, Dr. Pedro Rodriguez, Dr. Alfredo Rodriguez and other family and friends.

Manuel is preceded in death by his parents Alfredo Fernandez and Delfina Alonso Fernandez.
