Manuel "Doodle" Raymond Soto II
May 2, 1947 – January 20, 2018.

Manuel "Doodle" Raymond Soto II, 70, passed away peacefully surrounded by his children on January 20, 2018 in Merced, California. He was born May 2, 1947 to Manuel and Juanita Soto in Jan Jose, California.
In his younger days he enjoyed customizing cars, flat track motorcycle racing and fighting. As he aged he began an interest in yard sales, sharing his opinions, loving his children and grandchildren, and always trying to revamp his old jokes.
Survivors include his two sons, James Soto of Turlock, CA and Manuel R. Soto III of Vacaville, CA and three daughters; Denise Pizarro of San Jose CA, Juanita Loftis of Jackson, CA and Elicia Soto of Pine Grove, CA. He had many beloved grandchildren; Louie Trevino, Joey Pizarro, Hailey Soto, Isabella Soto, Noah Soto, Matt Loftis, Wyatt Loftis, Brooke Brunson and Elise Soto. In addition, his great grandchildren; Arianna Trevino and Gabriel Trevino. One sister, Stella Flores.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, his grandparents, two Brothers Edward Soto, Frank Soto and sister, Gloria Davis.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 2:00pm-4:00pm at Oak Hill Funeral and Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Ave. San Jose, CA at the Chapel of Roses.
