A Patriotic voice has been silenced. A watchman on the wall has perished. Our
hearts are broken; is there no Balm of Gilead? There is a changing of the guard; who will take up the battle? She treasured our Nation and fought the good fight; then, why has not the people been revived? She raised up the standard; who will replace her? âNone,â I say. âThere is no one.âMy prayers go out to Mara Roberts family and friends. I became friends with Mara through the patriotic gatherings. We were sisters in the cause. Always encouraging me, she brought me to Pueblo several times to speak at on various issues at those meetings. While we will miss her, she is rejoicing in heaven and I would not change that for anything. Thank you, Mara. Now, rest in peace, brave warrior.

I am deeply saddened. Mara's light left a footprint on my soul. Her love of truth and liberty was refreshing and I always looked forward to our conversations. I pray for peace and comfort for family and friends in this time of loss.
