Marc's love of life in all aspects was contagious.
Everyone who knew Marc couldn't help but smile right back at him.
Marc was proud of other’s accomplishments and let them know it.
To Lyne and family, may this time pass with love, care, peace and all the memories that you all hold dear to your hearts.
With deepest condolences,
Vu Pham

My deep condolences to the family. Marc convinced me to join Cognos in 1999. His enthusiasms and love for life was noticeable and contagious then as it was near the time of his untimely death. During my two years working with him as my manager, he managed to convince me to try Tai Chi and various other activities that I had deemed too 'wacky' for my taste. An accomplished martial artist, Marc would spent hours discussing martial arts with me, as I discovered that he was as knowledgeable in the arts philosophy as well as skills. He will be missed but will not be forgotten as a person who enjoy life's challenges as well as its rewards.

Marc I miss you, my dear friend. We met at Cognos and played beach volleyball together through lunchtime and afterwork games to the Bump n Smash events. I will always admire his team spirit, contagious energy, and dedication. Marc raised the most funds for the charity bump n smash tourney, and thanks to him our team won a suite for a Sens game.
I thank God for having the chance to know him.
My condolences to Lynn and family.

I worked with Marc on Transformer when he first joined Cognos. I will always remember that Transformer release party at Rick Soderstrom's cottage. He astonished me with his energy, going from waterskiing to kayaking to canoeing to ...whatever there was. He never stopped. He wanted to try everything.
He was an exemplary person. Always positive, giving of himself...he will be missed by all.

I had the privilege of working with Marc for almost 10 years.
During that time, I got to know a person that was passionate about life, about people and able to rise to any challenge.
His courage during his most recent battle was typical of the Marc for who we had so much fondness and respect.
He will be missed but never forgotten.

It is indeed sad to bear the loss of Marc. I pray that God will comfort Lyne and family at this time. I worked with Marc for about 2 years. He was a fair and courageous man. He worked hard and had a pleasant personality. We will surely miss his humour and camaraderie.

My deepest condolences to Lyne and the family. Marc first hired me at Cognos 10 years ago and I had the pleasure of working with him for 4 years. He was very bright, energetic and always beat me to the front of the Chinese buffet line. :) I will miss him.

Lyne and family,
Qi and I were sadened by the passing of a good friend. Please accept our deepest condolence at this most difficult time.
Marc had been our good friend for many years. He always showed his caring and kindness to everyone who is around him. We've got lots of help from him when we were at a loss to know what to do.
We also enjoyed so much to play sports with him together. He was always a hard player and never gave up. We were very impressed on his strong character. After he was sick, he always showed a positive attitude. He started fishing, canoeing, swimming, traveling and kayaking even though he was a cancer patient on the last stage. We always said he was crazy. But we know that is him. He was not only the kind of man people wanted to be, he was the kind of man people would be proud to be.
You are in our thoughts and prayers
He will be missed by both of us

I can't say how much Stephan and I are saddened by the news. Marc was my manager for several years at Cognos and I was impressed by how much spirit he had. He'd bike into work no matter what the weather was with a big smile on his face and he made sure his team not only worked hard but had fun. We will miss him.

My condolences to you and your family Lynn. Marc was my friend at work and I remember about 11 yrs ago, Marc was the one that told me that I can do and be anything I want to ... go for it he said. There are no limits except ... if you don't go for it at all. Marc was a strong person and leader. He was a great friend and will be missed greatly. My thoughts are with you.

I am terribly sorry about what has happened to Marc. I fully understand and share the pain and sorrow you and your family are going through at this difficult time.
Marc is an excellent friend and colleague. I enjoyed so much to work with him together, to teach and practice taiji with him together, to go out for lunch together, to play pingpong together. We shared many thoughts in the last a few months. We chat a lot each time when I visited him in the hospital. During my visit before last Christmas, he asked me to pray for him asking God to help him live longer so that he can see Jean-Philippe’s birthday in March. A few my church brothers and sisters prayed for him as well. I thank the Lord for granting Marc what he wished.
May God bless everyone in your family in this time of sorrow.
