I just learned of Marc's passing. I'm so sorry for his wife's, family's and friends' great loss.

I attended Cure of Ars with him. I was a sad and shy girl but Marc (so charismatic, good looking, smart, athletic, good-natured) was always kind to me. Given the alphabetical proximity of our last names, teachers often seated us next to each other and for me it was a blessing. I so enjoyed sitting next to him and the warmth he exuded and the humor he shared (many times under his breath out of ear-shot of the teacher). It is clear to me from reading these other entries that Marc became the man that was evident all along in him as a boy - a truly great and giving soul. My deepest condolences.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Marc's passing. I sat by him in many classes in high school and always loved his spirit and sense of humor. I attended his father's funeral and was always deeply affected by this experience. He was a handsome, terrific guy and I can't believe he's gone.

Mac, Virgie, Melanie, Marlon, Phil, and Sarah ~ I know the sudden loss of our beloved Marc has been felt from the US through China and Spain. But, here in our hearts is where Marc remains. I still remember his smile and laugh and you are the lucky ones to have heard it most often. Remember that and smile with him, for he is smiling down on you all, today. I love and miss you all.

I did not have the privilege to know Marc. I do know his mother and for a life to be cut so short can never be understood. We never get over the loss but time does allow us to learn to live with our loses.
May God hold the whole family close during this time. My prayers and thoughts are with you all.

Stacy, I was extremely saddened and very sorry to hear of Marc's passing. I also worked with Marc for over 10 years, and had the pleasure of playing soccer with him away from work. He was a true friend and exceptional person. He will be greatly missed. Unfortunately, I could not be in town for the services, please know however that my family’s thoughts and prayers are with you.

Lo siento de verdad, durante mi estancia en Kansas City realizando la formación para BHA en el año 2001 me acogió de manera especial no sólo en el terreno profesional sino también en el personal y descubrí lo buena persona que era.

Words aren't adequate...especially when one graduates to heaven at such an early age. Strength comes from our Father above. Marc obviously left a positive print on the lives he touched around the world. Assisting with his golf clubs at Hillcrest CC was a pleasure, and I'm grateful to have known him. Special Blessings to his family.

I was so saddened to hear about Mark's death, his family and my family were close friends and I was one of his first babysitters when he was a young boy. My favorite memory of Mark is when his father Armando and brother Philiip came to our house to trick or treat. Unfortunately I live outside the Kansas City area now and was unable to attend the funeral but my husband and I do send our condolences to the entire family. We are so sorry for your loss.

Marc was a great friend and a coworker whom I truly admired. He was an integral part of the success of our company, not only because of his multiple achievements, but because of his positive, witty, humble, warm presence. It is very difficult to imagine our working environment without him. Two things that I value and learned from Marc, he always treated each individual with respect and he was someone that I could confide in. I feel blessed to have known him and am thankful for his friendship and wonderful memories.

It is with great sorrow that I read the email this morning informing of Marc's passing. Marc and I played soccer together in high school and attended KU together afterwards. His passion for that sport and for everything he did in life is what I will remember most about Marc. Marc was a guy that many of us looked up to and to me what you're ultimately saying when you look up to someone else is "I see You". It's what you see in someone else that you can begin to see in yourself. Marc allowed many of us to see ourselves in him with all of his wonderful qualities. His positive attitude, sincerity, sense of humor, confidence and most of all his willingness to listen and acknowledge what someone else has to say...that we're all important to him. Love You Marc and thought of you as a best friend.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Marc. I went to KU with him and enjoyed seeing him daily. Although I have not seen him much since then, I will say a prayer for him and his family left behind.

Stacey.... I was very sad to hear about your loss. Marc was a great guy and I enjoyed working with him many years. Full of energy and a passion for global business, always there to support his international collegues. He will be remembered.

Stacy, our hearts ache for your loss. You have an army of people who are on their knees on your behalf. We hurt for you and with you, and are here for you. As I read these pages, I see testimony to two wonderful people who have made the lives of those around them better and brighter. May God bless you and keep you, and may you find comfort and peace in Him in this difficult time.
