I hope Marc now finds Terry Kath upstairs and gets the chance to shake his hand and jam! I too met Marc in center city Philadelphia at Nathan Muchnick 40 years ago and we shared good times following damn good music as it came around. Nobody else comes close to the knowledge he shared with all of us. I feel so lucky that he made time to talk to me when I knew he had his own extended family and friends to keep up with and support. RIP my friend.

Marc has been a friend and warm presence since we met at that storte on Chestnut St where he worke many years. Instant friendship that never wavered even though our contacts became fewer over the years. I will miss him as thinking about him always warmed my heart. Sweet, funny guy.

I love you Marc... always have, always will. I'll always think of you everytime I see a baconator. Your love and sense of humor always healed and helped me in a wonderful way. I can still hear your voice coming thru my phone. Im so grateful to know you, to love you, and thank you for pouring love into me and for the friendship you gave me so freely. Not gone, my friend. I know your energy, your love, they live on. You changed the world. Thank you.

I grew up on the same street as Marc and loved listening to him play the trumpet while riding my bike up and down the driveway as a kid. In much later years, while our mothers played Acey Deucy at the kitchen table, I´d pop in to say hello and he always made me laugh. He was a kind, funny, gentle soul. May his memory always be a blessing.

First and foremost, to Bernie. The last year was intense for you as you did your best to stand by Marc. It was quite the journey.
What can I say about "Path Marc?" My "Path Pal." My "Hebrewsese." He was my "honorary Italian and I was his "honorary Jew."
25 years of being so close to one of thE most humble, guileless, caring, trustworthy and funny people I have ever met. In Recovery and outside of it. My confidante. My "brother from another mother." How we laughed, cried and talked and talked!
Too many memories and moments to list or count. You always knew how much I loved you and I never doubted your care for me. You stood out among so many others because, for me, you were real. R E A L. You carried your deep hurts from others kindly and bravely and never harmed anyone.
You are irreplaceable. And you are free now. 110% free. Finally.

Miss you, Marc. 27 years ago you walked in that room. A stranger to me and I knew you would not be one for long. Thanks for turning me on to so much good music at the record stores in Philly. It´s good you´re at peace now, my friend.

Serendipity and curiousity drew me into Nathan Muchnick on Chestnut Street in 1991. And a common love/obsession for music led me into a kinship with Marc.
Not only did he help me score so many Olivia Newton-John import CDs, a visit with Marc was always a bright spot in an otherwise lackluster day at the office.
Learning of his dedication to helping others in their darker times only fortifies the knowledge that his spirit will live through all he affected.
And I will always laugh when I relive a moment we had at Elephant & Castle that coined our shared message sign off: "That´s so funny!"
