Marcel HOULE Obituary
On January 16, 2016, Marcel Houle passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the age of 82 years.
Marcel will be dearly missed by his wife Jackie, to whom he was married for 53 years; his daughter Anita; granddaughters, Blythe and Amy; son Ron (Angie); his brothers, Norman (Michele), Raymond (Paulette) and Danny; as well as many other close family and friends. He was predeceased by his brothers, Henry and Maurice.
Marcel was an avid hunter and fisherman, as well as a true artist and master taxidermist. For 40 years, his business Edmonton Taxidermy Studio Ltd. attracted clients from around the world, many of whom became lifelong friends. He loved the outdoors and had a profound knowledge and appreciation of plants and wildlife. He particularly enjoyed spending time in the country up at his cabin gardening, riding his quad, watching the crops grow and the seasons change. His life was enriched by all of the travelling he did and all of the people he shared his adventures with. He was a great storyteller and has left us many beautiful photos and memories.
Cremation has taken place and a Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Bosco Parish, 13503-40 Street NW, Edmonton.

We were shocked to hear of Marcel's passing. Accept our heartfelt condolences and may God bless you and comfort you.
Marcel was a very special person. He overcame a lot of pain and discomfort over the years from his tragic accident and continued to do what he loved best. He was well respected in the Taxidermy field. He did excellent work and was praised by many.
May he rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I always enjoyed my visit with Marcel. He helped me with my first overseas hunting trip. His work was always the best. He will be missed.
