MARCEL TESSIER Obituary
Marcel Tessier peacefully passed away at Laurier Manor Saturday, August 10, 2013 at the age of 80. Predeceased by his parents, Edgar Tessier and Léonie Martel, and one sister, Irène Tessier (late Gerald Copeland). Beloved husband of Mireille Dugas and dear father of four sons, Guy (Judy Richardson), Gilles (Carole Valiquette), Pierre (Elaine Hackett) and Alain. Cherished grandfather of Joshua, Courtney Kelsey, Sophie-Claire, Anthony and Sara-Ève. He will also be missed by two sisters, Jeannine Tessier (late George Mortier) and Claudette Tessier (Albert Potvin), his sister-in-law, Viola Cousineau, and three brothers-in-law, Ronald Dugas (late Denise Briand), Yvon Dugas (late Thérèse Grégoire), William Cousineau, and by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A religious ceremony will be held Monday, August 19, at 2 p.m., at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS located at 95, boulevard de la Cité-des-Jeunes in Gatineau (Hull sector). The family will receive condolences from 1:30 p.m. For those who wish, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The family also wishes to thank the staff on the second floor at Laurier Manor for their devotion and good care. Online condolences may be made at www.cfo.coop.
