Marcella Moore

MOORE, MARCELLA, 86, the former Marcella Eckert McKnight, peacefully passed away at the family farm on Saturday, May 12, 2007. She was a native of St. Joe, IN and was the owner and operator of Marcella's Beauty Shop on Preston Highway, Louisville, KY and retired as a shipping clerk for the Kentucky Metals Company, New Albany, IN. Surviving are her son, Robert "Bobby" McKnight III (Diane), of St. Joe, IN; sister, Alma Zimmerman of Indianapolis, IN; two grandchildren, Robert L. McKnight IV, Ashley N. McKnight, both of St. Joe; and many nieces and nephews; two nieces close to her heart, Linda and Terry Stamper. Funeral Mass will be offered at her church, St. Joe Hill Catholic Church, service time pending. Interment will be at St. Joe Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Garr Funeral Home, Sellersburg, IN. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Southern Indiana.
