Marcella Sherwood Obituary
Horseheads - Marcella B. Sherwood, age 88, of Horseheads, NY, died Wednesday, June 13, 2018. She was born in Bath, NY, December 23, 1929 the daughter of Raymond and Lillian (Wager) Brownell. Ms. Sherwood was a graduate of Haverling Central School and she retired from Equitable Life Insurance Co. of Elmira, NY. She was a past member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Bath, NY.
She is survived by her daughter Terrie (Tom) Menzies of Niagara Falls, Canada, son James Sherwood of Horseheads, NY; four grandchildren, Randy, Jillian, Jennifer and Melissa; seven great grandchildren, Lillian, Thomas, Brooklynn, Cody, Christopher, Alyssa and Tyler and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and brothers; Harold, Frances, Robert and William Brownell.
Marcella's family would like to give special thanks to Sisters of Mercy nursing home in Lackawanna and Fredonia Place, Fredonia, NY for their outstanding care and compassion.
A memorial service will be held at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Reverend Lynne Sharp officiating. Followed by a graveside service at Nondaga Cemetery in Bath.

to Marcella's Family:
I knew Marcella through the Horseheads Senior Center on Broad St...visited her at her home when she had her dogs and her son lived next door.. we almost went to Florida years ago for a couple of weeks vacation, but she couldn't find care for the dogs...always enjoyed talking with her at the center. I didn't realize she had left the area...my sympathies to all of her family..may she RIP...
