Dear J.R.,

I lived in Center for a couple of years while I was in grade school. I was a year ahead of your mother in school. Your grandmother Ruby was the leader for our 4-H club. I still have the Betty Crocker cookbook that we used then. Not long after your Uncle Buell died, my mother and I were traveling through N.D.. We stopped for a brief visit with your grandmother. It was fun to share old memories, and learn about Marcia's life and children. Your Grandma was proud.

I am sorry I never got to know your mother in latter years, from what has been shared, it sounds like she was a good and kind woman.

My mom lives in Dickenson now, she let me know of you mom's passing.

She wanted me to pass on our respects and prayers to you.

in Christ,

JoAnne Overby Erickson

Marcia. We have been friends for at least 23 years,We worked together and shared many silly times at work, i do remember the silly things we use to talk about when the patients were all safe and sound in their beds and we were all trying to stay awake, those will always be special moments.we had great times when you your kids me and my kids would spend many many times at the park.I even remember the time that a guy i was seeing was more suited for your taste, wellit turned out that we both decided that there must be another women out there that he would be best suited for, i know we must have laughed at that one for weeks. Yes marcie we spent alot of time together until our lives moved in a different direction.Yes we still kept in contact but of course not nearly as much as i would have liked,I love and miss you alot by the looks of it marcia you continued to touch lives and know that you are in another special place you will continue to do the same.LOVE YOU BUNCHES AND BUNCHES.J.R. I hope you know how much you brought joy to your moms life she was very very proud of you.Jamie and jessie send their love.If there is anything i can do please let me know.

J.R. I am Vern and Ruth Johnston's daughter. Marcia and I spent alot of time together when we were growing up. I have a scar on my head that she gave me that I will tell you all about, it was my fault. It happened when they lived on the farm before they moved to Center. Ralph,Ruby and family spent alot of time at Roy Lake especially at Easter. I have pictures of the good times we all had. This is such a sad time,I can't believe she is gone. I am in shock after hearing from Ellen. See you on Sat. Uncle Chuck is comming with me. Love Always Mary Jane Wenaas(Johnston).

Marcia was a very caring and giving person she will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She was always very welcoming to me through the years. It always meant a lot to me and we had some fun times at the scottish festival and the ren fest. I am glad I got to know her somewhat but not enough. JR I am very sorry for your loss, you are always in my prayers.
