Marcia Darlene Caldwell

Mount Dora - Marcia Taylor Caldwell, 82, passed away on August 9, 2025, in Tavares, FL. She was born February 14, 1943, in Orlando, FL, to her parents: George and Elma (Girouard) Taylor. Born and raised in Orlando and a graduate of Bishop Moore in 1961 she lived in the College Park area and was a permanent resident for years until she moved to Mount Dora. Marcia worked for Lockheed Martin Marietta as a data entry operator for 20 years. Marcia's favorite place to be was at any beach and her other favorite thing to do was training service dogs which she did for 10+ years. She was also President of the Orlando Tall Club for many years.

She is survived by her sisters: Annette Rose Taylor and Jan Marsh. Nieces: Carole, Shannon, Stephanie, Courtney and nephew Grey. She was preceded in death by her husband: James Gallagher and daughter Becki Caldwell.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 2:00PM, with a gathering of friends and family from 1:00PM-2:00PM at Steverson, Hamlin and Hilbish Funeral Home in Tavares, FL.
