Our sincere condolences to Paula and son, and to all of Marco's relatives. He always treated me like family. A gracious host at the restaurant, as well as at his home. Whether a business dinner, a social dinner, or a quiet dinner for two, or a wedding rehearsal dinner for Marianne and me, he made you feel welcome and important. Mostly I will miss sitting with you at the bar, or at your home, you with a Stoli, and me with a VO. Talking about making wine, (yours was the best I ever tasted), sausage, eating figs I brought, olives that I brought, and you cracked and soaked and rinsed, and we shared and enjoyed and laughed. A self made entrepreneur. Yet blue collar and down to earth, and who wouldn't loaf with anyone who was snooty, or put on airs. We fooled 'em all when I smuggled wine, prosciutto, cheese, figs, and crusty bread into AGH when I visited. Not all medicine comes from a pharmacy. You taught me how to make "salatatuta", and about opera. On behalf of Marianne and me, God Bless you as you rest with him and his son, and you with Frank. I miss you and love you my friend.

I have many good memories of Marco and his kind demeanor.
He always made everyone feel important. I am happy that we spoke in recent months as I am confined to a wheelchair and do not get out much. I have offered my prayer for his soul.

Piccolo Piccolo was my favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh. I spent many lunches, dinners and cocktail hours in that perfect little place. A very fond farewall, Mr. Sacco. You brought me more joy than you can ever know.
