My family condolences to the Marcus Jordan family. It was so sad to hear of him passing. He brought joy to our family because he was the caretaker of my late brother John Wesley Hunter Jr. He worked tirelessly 12 hour days and feel the house will cheer until the end. My sincerest condolences and prayers to the Jordan family. I grew up with Duck and his siblings. Deborah, Teresa and I were in school together. I remember some of my best high school times was visiting their home. I always felt at home because Duck and his family always made me welcome. Over the years, Duck always had a kind word or said something that brought joy to my heart. A great cook and even a better host and friend, Duck knew how to make you feel loved. I always appreciated that about him. Rest peacefully with the Lord, Duck. I know your beloved mother, Mrs. Jordan and your brother "Man" have greeted you with open arms. You will be truly missed.

My heart felt sympathy and prayers go to the family and Care Givers of Rev. Marcus Jordan. He will be remembered as my Brother in Christ and Friend. For years, we enjoyed sitting near each other in church on Sundays. He would often comment on my hairstyles. One Sunday, he said, Sister, you wearing that hairstyle today. Don't shout it out. I said, thank you Brother Marcus. I only used couple hair pins, so if I get happy and my hair comes off, just pick it up until I get back. That was one of the many laughs we shared over the years! He was a very kind and genuine person. Marcus loved working with the Temple Church Matrons Ministry. I believe his body gave out, yet Marcus' spirit is now present with the Lord.
