Dear Lee and family,
You are still in our prayers and thoughts. It was so sad. I think of you often. I still remember our limo ride to Jekyll for your birthday that Mark gave you. You take care. Love you. Mary Younce

Lee and Family, Sending you prayers and hugs for strength and comfort, during this devastating time in your lives. I met Dr Norvell when he was just 32 yrs old and starting out in labor and delivery. I had the privilege of working with him several years as a L&D nurse. He was a beautiful person, doctor, and co-worker. My heart breaks for you, his family. With Heartfelt sympathy,

Lee and family,
I'm so sorry to hear of Mark's death. I remember meeting him at the Penn Center years ago. There are no words to express the depths of grief in loosing such a devoted companion, and during the time ahead you will be in my thoughts and prayers, holding you in the Light, as we Quakers say.

I was a patient of Dr. Norvell for several years after moving to Georgia from Maryland. I so enjoyed speaking with him and I felt very "at home" during my visits to his office. Saying many prayers for his loving family and friends. Dr. Norvell will be remembered always with that bright smile and his soft spoken mannerism and professional. Thank you for sharing so many photos of his happy life! Rest in Peace Dr. Norvell. I'm so very saddened to have heard this news today!

Dr. Norvell was truly a great man. He delivered all three of my healthy children and consoled me through the loss of one child. I drove all the way from Atlanta once I moved to keep him as my doctor. He will truly be missed. Hugs...Prayers..and blessings to you all.

Wow! I have to say that I am very blessed at learning of this incredible man, and I am now even more inspired to personally press on for Christ. While I am blessed to work with Dr. Norvell's son, David Marcus Norvell, I count it a privilege to pray with my wife for the Norvell family and friends; may He hold each of you closer than ever through this - and as I am confident Dr. Norvell would have wanted: use even this to bring many others closer to Him as well. Prayer from TN for His ever-comforting and Loving {{embrace}} through this...http://bit.ly/Old-Rugged-Cross

My dearest Lee, words are so inadequate to express my sympathy. Mark lived by example. A quiet, gentle soul. I felt honored to know him as my physician and friend. I pray that the peace that passes understanding be with you throughout this ordeal. My prayers are coming to you from North Carolina. My love to you. Dawn Johnson (formerly Varnum)

What a legacy this man has left for his family and community. I'm fortunate to know member of this great family he has left behind. I know that he leaves them all with fond memories and amazing stories of love and generosity that will last a lifetime! I know this is a tragic loss that can only be met with a knowledge that he has blessed so many with his time here. Much love to the Norvell's from TN.

Dr. Norvell was a wonderful man. He delivered my daughter and kept me calm. He also delivered daughter's son and was wonderful with her panic attack disorder. Dr. Norvell explained things so you could understand. I know he was a great family man as well. I am keeping all of you in prayers. God bless you all.

Good memories over the years. Mark did such a good job of navigating all the nuances of life. A good husband, father, Physician. Best of all he was humble and a Godly
Man. May God bless you Lee, your children, and grandchildren and hold all of you close during this difficult time.
