I was a friend of Gitty's in since Middle School maybe before. I remember going to church with her and her mom, then out for breakfast at the Ritz. She was a wonderful person. Very smart, pretty and a joy to be around. She was a wonderful singer I remember. I send my regards to the family and friends. I have asked my friends to keep the Baxter's in there prayers. God Bless.

Although I did not know "Gitty" personally, I know and have worked for her brother, George Baxter. I have 2 children myself a daughter and a son -- the greatest gift a mother/parent can ever know. Knowing George and Sally as I do, this is a truly fine family. My Family's Love and Prayers to the Baxter Family but most importantly, her parents. George spoke of his sisters often and was very proud of Gitty's accomplishments. My sincere condolences, Sandi Ferguson Miller
