Margaret Jo Brister, recently of Midwest City, went to be with the Lord August 30, 2015. Jo was born January 22, 1942, in Dyess, Arkansas. Professionally, Jo was a typesetter and, later, a graphic designer who supported her family through her dedicated and innovative work. Margaret is preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle Henderson, and her beloved husband Robert Price Brister. She leaves behind her two daughters, Sheryl Brister, of Oklahoma and Vicki Humbert and her husband Michael of Florida; her sons Robert Price Brister, Jr., and J. Gregory Brister and his wife Emily D. Wicktor of Minnesota. She also leaves behind her three sisters, Jeanie Allen, Pat Jackson, and Peggy Henderson; and her seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service for Margaret will be held Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 1:00 p.m., at Paylor Family Funeral Care, in their Reception Room.

I am very sorry for your family's loss. I did not know Margaret, but from knowing her sister Jeanne I realize what a singular and wonderful person Margaret must have been. I wish you all well in this difficult time of loss.
