Margaret E. Jaeger, 97, of Mesa, AZ, formerly of Concord, passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown with Rev. Philip Bigelow of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc officiating. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia. Memorials, if desired may be directed to Pilgrim, Lutheran Church, Mesa, AZ. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown is serving the family. Margaret Ella Dorn was born April 23, 1926, in Concord, the daughter of Herman and Viola (Winkleman) Dorn. On October 7, 1945, Margaret married to Albert Jaeger at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, in Ixonia. Together Margaret and Albert had two children, Cheryl and Daniel. Initially, they farmed in Ixonia and later owned and operated Al's Bar in Oconomowoc. For many years, Margaret worked at Shorehaven in Oconomowoc, retiring in the late 1980's. In retirement, Margaret and Albert moved to Mankato, MN to be near Cheryl and her family. In 2005, Margaret moved to Mesa, AZ. A faithful believer, Margaret was a long-time member in several churches within the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.

Margaret is survived by her daughter Cheryl Roth, of Florence, AZ; Granddaughter, Rachel (Jon) Erkkila of Ankeny, IA; Estreia Roth (Randy), Gilbert, AZ; great grandchildren, Lily and Dashiel Erkkila and Talin and Neveah Roth; Sister-in-Law, Violet Dorn, sisters-in-law, Janet Dorn and Shirley Dorn.

Margaret is preceded in death by: husband, Albert Jaeger; Her son, Daniel Jaeger; parents; sisters, Mabel Lees, Dorothy Sukow, Donna Mae Dorn, Ruth Ann Christian; brothers, Donald, Harvey, Floyd, Elroy, and Leon Dorn; Grandsons, Randall J. Roth, Christopher D. Jaeger; Granddaughter, Tara Lynn Roth; Son-in-Law, Jay L. Roth.
