Margaret Kealler Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 21, 2025.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret "Margo" Maria (Reh) Kealler, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Margo was a former resident of North Andover, MA and Suwanee, GA. Born on July 31, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY, Margo was the loving wife to the late David Kealler and daughter of Kilian and Maria Reh. Margo graduated from Catherine McAuley High School in Brooklyn NY and studied at New York University. Margo met David while they were both working for TWA (Trans World Airlines) and married in Las Vegas on February 14, 1970. After many years of living in Manhasset, NY, on Long Island, the family was transferred with David's job to Massachusetts where they lived in North Andover, MA for close to 40 years. Margo's love for travel never dulled as she went to work at Travel Anywhere and later founded (with the late Nancy McBride) operated and ran Park Street Travel in Andover, MA which is still operating out of Georgia today. Margo travelled the whole world and she treasured other cultures and traditions. She never met anyone who did not become her friend! Her home is a museum to all the memories of each place she visited. Those close to her have many outstanding memories of travelling, dining at favorite restaurants or being entertained in her beautiful home with her gourmet cooking and her welcoming nature. Margo dedicated most of her life the past years to her children and her grandchildren. She moved to Georgia to be closer to them, yet, always having a guiding role in Park Street Travel until the end. Margo's greatest joy throughout her life was her loving family and they will forever carry with them her example of genuine passion. Margo was 'one of a kind' and once you met her, you never forgot her. She had a 'larger than life' personality and was fearlessly and fiercely passionate in everything she did. Margo is survived by her cousins, nieces and nephews and her grateful children: Danielle Kealler Diaz (Derek) and Robert Kealler (Jennifer). Her stepchildren; Steven Kealler (Debbie), Lisa Kealler Miller (Joseph) and Michelle Kealler Hooker (John Cordovano). Margo is also survived by her adoring grandchildren and great grandchildren; Lucas and Katherine , Caroline and Anderson, Garrett and Connor, Dayna, and Ryan, William, Paige and Michelle, Daniel and Alexandra, Avery and Adalyn, Cruz and Cole, Everly and Noah.

Family and friends are invited on Friday, September 19, 2025 to a Memorial Mass at 11:30am at St Michael's Church, 196 Main Street in North Andover, MA 01845 followed by a Celebration of Life Luncheon.

I loved your Margo. I moved from our neighborhood (Cadence) six years ago but Margo and I stayed in touch through social media. She had a lunch party one time when I came back to visit.
She was such a lovely, smart and supportive woman.
My condolences.

Deepest, deepest sympathy to the family for your loss. Margo was a wonderful lady and the best entertainer ever. She always had a smile. Everyone who knew in Cadence truly misses her lovely personality. God bless all of you and may she rest in peace & travel throughout Heaven. Harry and Brenda Hampson

Besides being the world´s greatest travel agent Margot was an incredible friend.
My favorite "Margot miracle" was when coming back from a Chicago meeting( as usual with O´Hare problems developed and the entire plane was emptied further delaying things. We were told to. " hang by the gate, and they´d see if they could conjure up another plane. While walking off the jetway , I called Margot. Before I got back to the original gate she had determined there was another Boston plane at the next gate, had secured me a boarding pass and told me to walk over to that gate, secure my pass and board the plane which I did and off to Boston I went with no delay once Margot got involved.
She was AMAZING!
RIP Margot

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Margo and send our heartfelt condolences to the entire family.

What a blessing that she lived to meet her great-grandchildren, moments like those are priceless, and we´re so glad she was surrounded by the love of generations. Her legacy lives on in each of you, in the stories, the laughter, and the love she passed down.

Thinking of you all and holding you close in our hearts during this tender time.
