Vestavia Hills - Born to H.L. and Sue Weaver, Lynn was a graduate of Madisonville High School and Knoxville Business College. She had a life-long career at the Aluminum Company of America where met her husband of 42 years, Joe. Lynn was active at Monte Vista Baptist Church in Maryville TN as a dedicated member of the church choir, a founding member of the handbell choir, and in the Journey Women group. Lynn is survived by beloved daughter Melissa (Owens) McBrayer, son-in-law Mike, grandchildren Luke and Maggie, nieces Michelle Allen, Meredith Brown, and step-daughter, Betty (Owens) Hamilton. A memorial service will be held at Vestavia Hills Baptist Church (AL) on August 14th at 5pm (livestream www.vhbc.com); graveside August 18th at Grandview Cemetery in Maryville at 9 am. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the music ministry of either mentioned church or the charity of your choice.
